OVERVIEW View Conference Agenda
This year’s Scottish Annual Conference and Award for Executive Secretaries and PAs is the 10th Anniversary of ACES - Awarding and Celebrating Excellence in Scotland.
ACES is the original conference and awards ceremony for PAs, EAs, Office Managers and office support professionals in Scotland. It’s a conference, exhibition and award providing a one-stop-shop for learning, development, knowledge sharing and networking.
The focus of the 10th anniversary conference is on managing and promoting work place change, developing professional skills and achieving more personally in the next decade. We are again delighted to be partnering with Scottish Rugby Hospitality with this year's conference and awards taking place at BT Murrayfield.
ACES 2017 will provide the opportunity to:
- Hear from a PA Panel on learning from your peers
- Understand how to manage workplace change turning it from change into innovation
- Develop professional skills in technology, time management and social media
- Learn how to achieve more personally in the next ten years
- Vote for the 10th Annual Scottish PA of the Year

We’ve got a great session with Alan Hughes, CRM Manager, University of Edinburgh Business School discussing how to turn change into innovation. He says people don’t really like change, even the ones who say they do, so how do you get people to engage with change? He's going to tell us.
We asked you what you wanted and you asked for a PA panel – well you’ve got it! Made up your past and current winners of the Scottish PA of the Year Award, they will be discussing with you what they’ve learned over ten years of change.
At the conclusion of the day’s conference and training, delegates will get the opportunity to take part in a live vote to decide the winner of the 10th Annual Scottish PA of the Year Award.
Judges will already have whittled the nominations down to three finalists and information about them will be available to delegates. Once the winner is announced, and the award presentation for the winner and runners up is complete, delegates will then be able to relax and enjoy a sparkling wine reception and final opportunity to network and visit exhibitors.

There was great, varied content and interesting speakers. John Curtis especially stood out. I found the conference to be very well run, the room was fabulous and there was a good range of exhibitors. ACES 2015 Partner
