OVERVIEW View Conference Agenda

Is it possible for public sector bodies to transform in order to deliver multi-channel digital public services platforms for their clients and customers?

That's exactly what HM Revenue & Customs are in the process of doing - with the aim of giving customers access in real time. The project to digitalise HMRC’s business is both ambitious and leading edge in the context of public service innovation in the UK, so what can be learned from it?

In our previous conferences on digital delivery of services it was very clear that there is a large appetite across the Scottish public sector for both transformation and the informed knowledge needed to deliver change with as little risk as possible.

Starting with the HMRC project, the conference will examine core factors for success in re-engineering public services as digital businesses during the following three sessions:

  • Rebuilding public services around customers
  • How to deliver public services digital businesses
  • Avoiding disasters and adding dynamism

This conference will focus on the challenges and opportunities facing public sector bodies in delivering digital transformation, in particular the efficiency and service improvement benefits to be gained, and will focus on the process and cultural change which is needed to support transformation.

If you want to know more about how public sector agencies are re-inventing themselves to seize the digital future right now, then this is the conference to attend.
