This one-day national conference will bring together senior-level stakeholders involved in planning and delivering sport to examine the opportunities for, and barriers to, developing local, integrated sports provision.
The conference will discuss the importance of designing and implementing local sports strategies and facilities strategies; explore the community sports hub concept; and consider the need to develop and more fully utilise Scotland's existing community sports facilities - particularly those assets within schools and local sports clubs.

Debate how the sports community can promote the potential of sport to help meet national outcomes and encourage Local Authorities to directly reference sport in their Single Outcome Agreements
Assess the benefits of developing local sports strategies and sports facilities strategies and examine the role of Community Planning Partnerships in their design, delivery and evaluation
