New Cashback Scheme for SMEs Improving Energy Efficiency
2nd Feb 2018
Small businesses in Scotland have been encouraged to take advantage of a new "cashback" scheme that could enable them to cut annual energy usage by a quarter and save up to £10,000 in the process.
The Scottish Government and Zero Waste Scotland have announced a cashback scheme which enables eligible SMEs to receive loans which give cash back if the organisation’s energy efficiency improvements are met.
The new scheme is part of Scotland’s Energy Efficiency Programme (SEEP) and is intended to help businesses improve their energy performance by lowering emissions and energy usage and at the same time demonstrate cost savings.
